How We Select Our Products….
Auravis Systems’ background in music and the arts, as well as 35 years of experience with high end audio and video equipment provide us with a sound foundation in recognizing outstanding product performance. What further sets us apart is our unique and substantial background in product design, engineering, manufacturing, and business. These skill sets allow us to evaluate current and prospective products in a “behind the scenes manner” that few audio/video retailers are capable of.
It’s not enough that our products just look great or sound great in the showroom. We closely examine the companies and operations behind our products. We visit our manufacturers, correspond with reviewers, network with trusted dealers across the country, and actively attend trade events. We look at our products’ history, quality of construction, technology, countries of origin, and projected resale value. It’s all about ensuring that our customers are working with an “advocate” throughout the purchase process and life of ownership.
Why So Many Products?
Quite simply, our industry and customer tastes are comprised of many “flavors” and budgets. For us (or anyone) to unconditionally proclaim a company or product “The Best” and then sell it to everyone simply doesn’t make sense. Instead, we feel strongly that our responsibility is to determine “the best product or system for each of our customers”. Our variety of products was carefully selected for their reputation, value, diversity of sound, aesthetics, reliability, practical and architectural applications, as well as the ability to strike an “emotional chord”.

Perhaps the one constant in our industry is that technology it is ever changing. At Auravis, we embrace this concept but not at the expense of our commitment to past, current, and future customers or products. Yes, many products and technologies are rapidly advancing, and this is particularly true in the video, digital audio, and home automation domains. Let us not forget, however, that tube (valve) gear, turntables, CD players, and conventional speakers remain prolific and are flourishing in the market place. In fact, we maintain that this may be the most exciting time ever for our customers to enjoy the latest in traditional analog technologies.
